I was visiting my friend in Thetford Vermont at the end of the summer. I couldn’t stop admiring this bush that was in full flower even all other flowers were already past. So I had to paint them rising on straight up stems with their blush of magenta near the orange centers, in fall, even though all the other flowers were expired.
