Unveiling New Fall and Summer Paintings and Exploring Creativity Inside the Studio.

Hello, Art Appreciators and Collectors,

I promised to post a few new paintings from my Wildflower series. You can now find them all on my website, Pamelapaints.com.

These paintings embrace both the early summer months and the more recent fall season.

Blue Bird Box - Watercolor, 9" x 12"

This Blue Bird Box in the painting was home to two bird families this spring; the first was a Blue Bird family, and the second was a family of Tree Swallows, which have iridescent blue feathers. Both bird species are

Fall Wild Flower Chaos,

16" x 12"

As fall creeps in, the wildflower fields get tossed around by the wind. Some flowers are still blooming in vibrant colors, and others have already formed pods.

I like the contrast of these skeletal forms against the petals of blooming flowers. I enjoy this toss of old and new flowers and the less-ordered look of the field. The trees behind the field have lost their leaves, and the sun comes in and out of the clouds. This gives a dramatic backdrop to the fields I captured in this painting.

All Glass - Watercolor, 8" x 10"

I am also pleased to include a new still life painted in the warmth of my studio. As the weather gets colder, I move indoors and look around for inspiration. This still life comprises a collection of my favorite glass objects in my home. A blue bowl hand-blown by a friend, a paperweight with a serpent wound around the top, left to me by my parents, and a delicate perfume bottle. All the items sit on a beautifully colored scarf, which belonged to my mother.

I love the colors and the memories.

As we move into the winter months, I expect to be working on indoor subject matter.

In the meantime, I hope you enjoy viewing these and many other works on my website, Pamelapaints.com.

Kind regards,

Pamela Casper
